Her journey in the radio industry began in 1989 when she joined Lee Bailey's Hip Hop Countdown and Report, eventually securing her first major market radio role with 92.3 The Beat in Los Angeles by 1993. Over the years, The Poetess has harnessed her expertise across a spectrum of broadcasting platforms, ranging from traditional radio to satellite radio and the digital realm. Since 2011, she has been actively engaged in professional podcasting, driven by a passion for helping others create successful and polished podcasts.
